American actor Anson Mount was born on February 25, 1973, as Anson Adam Mount IV, in Prospect Heights, Illinois, United States. His father, Anson Adams Mount, former Playboy magazine contributing editors and mother, Nancy Smith, a former golfer, brought him up in the small city of White Bluff, Tennessee. Anson is the younger of two sibling/half-sibling named his elder brother Anson Adams III and sister, Kristin, from his father’s previous nuptial. Previously, he was the student of Dickson Country Senior High School located at Dickson, Tennessee. Likewise, he also educated at University of the South situated at Sewanee, Tennessee and Columbia University, located at the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Upper Manhattan in New York City.
