World champion and Olympic medalist, Tara Lipinski is an American most female acclaimed figure skater. Former figure skater, Tara is among the very few athletes, who had won the Olympics, at the age of fifteen. Honored with Olympic gold medal in figure staking at the 1998 Winter Olympics, she has named as the only youngest Olympics gold medalist in the history of ladies figure skating. Also in fame for winning 1997 World Championship at the age fourteen, Tara again is the youngest person to ever win a World Figure Skating Championship. Initially she garnered national prominence after winning the 1994 U.S Olympics Festival competition. Known as the youngest athlete to win gold as well as youngest female Olympics gold medalist in figure skating, Tara Lipinski was tutored by Jeff DiGregorio, during her enrollment at University of Delaware. After finishing 1995 World Junior Championships at fourth place and in second place at 1995 U.S Championships, Tara became the subject of media talk & attention. Named “Tara-Mania” by media, Tara placed fifth at the 1996 World Junior Championship. Under the guidance of Richard Callaghan, she finished third at the 1996 United States Figure Skating Championship and succeeds to make her way through senior-level World Championships. Recipient of most recognizable and honorable of all awards, Oscar, Tara was named 1997 Female Athlete of the Year, which was followed by 1999’s Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Award for Best Female Athlete and Teen Choice Awards for Best Female Athlete. Inducted in 2006 United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame, Tara is noted as the youngest ever to walk. Also indulged as commentator for NBC, Universal Sports & NBC Sports for Sochi Winter Games, Tara recognition among fans landed her to appear on Access Hollywood at 86th Academy Awards as a fashion commentator, alongside Billy Bush (host).

Born as Tara Kristen Lipinski on June 10, 1982, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, Tara is the child of Patricia & Jack Lipinski. She spent much of childhood travelling Washington Township, Gloucester Country & New Jersey. Initially Tara was trained by some Philadelphia roller skating coaches. Winning several primary girls championship as a young girl, Tara’s family again moved to Sugar Land, Texas, where there were no training facilities available for Tara. So, in 1993, she shifted along with her family to Delaware, where she was trained by Richard Callaghan.

Tara Lipinski, a former American figure skater star, has achieved several accomplishments through her professionalism. Besides being athletic, she is a philanthropic and has helped several charities which is a live proof of her optimistic humanity.
