Accompanied by his beautiful wife, Meredith Lynn Auld, a former Miss South Dakota & author, Tom Brokaw married his ladylove in 1962. Believing in one woman man, Tom and Meredith together make a lovely couple, who have together welcomed three beautiful daughters, named Jennifer, Andrea & Sarah. Tom and Meredith considerable spent their time at their ranch on West Boulder River near Livingston, Montana.

A very reputed name in American television & media industry, Tom Brokaw is an American television journalist & author, better known for his exposure as anchor & managing editor of "NBC Nightly News", from year 1982 to 2004. Hugely admired and acclaimed personality, also an author of numerous books, including 1998's "The Greatest Generation", Tom is the only person to anchor all three major NBC News programs, which includes "NBC Nightly News", "The Today Show" & shortly "Meet the Press". The recipient of numerous honors & awards, including Peabody Award, Tom currently appears as Special Correspondent for NBC News as well as works on documentaries for several other outlets. Previously, Tom's television career started through KTIV located in Sioux City, which was followed by his stints at KMTV in Omaha, Nebraska & then WSB-TV located in Atlanta, Georgia. It was in 1966, when Tom joined NBC News, as reporter from California & as well anchored 11 p.m. news for KNBC-TV located in Los Angeles. Later in 1973, NBC network upgraded Tom as the White House correspondent, covering Watergate scandal & as an anchor of Saturday edition of Nightly News. Later in 1976, he became the host of NBC's "Today Show", a position he obligated till 1982. The same year, he started co-anchoring "NBC Nightly News" with Roger Mudd from New York in Washington. Throughout his journalism career, Tom has garnered numerous awards, nomination and viewers love as one of the veteran & renowned anchor of NBC News.

The eldest among three children of Eugenia "Jean" & Anthony Orville "Red" Brokaw, Tom Brokaw was born as Thomas John Brokaw in Webster, South Dakota, United States, on February 6th, 1940. Prior to permanently settling down in Yankton, Tom lived in Bristol, Igloo & Pickstown, with his family. At Yankton, Tom was educated at Yankton Senior High School & had also served as the governor of the South Dakota American Legion Boys State. Later Tom earned his B.A degree from University of South Dakota in Political Science in 1964.
